Wildlife Watching and Tourism: A Study on the Benefits and Risks of a Fast Growing Tourism Activity and Its Impacts on Species This publication produced by the Convention on Migratory Species shows that action is needed now to put effective controls in place on wildlife watching tourism. However, if tourism is allowed to grow uncontrolled, adequate protection of wildlife and the environment is difficult, if not impossible.
